Blue Ridge Rock Festival has announced The Black Dahlia Murder as one of its many artists for 2023. The Black Dahlia Murder is currently fronted by guitarist Brian Eschbach, with former guitarist Ryan Knight joining to fill in Eschbach’s position. The band played their first show with this new lineup this past October and it sounded fantastic.

“There are going to be tears in the pit for this one. The passing of Trevor Strnad, founder of The Black Dahlia Murder, was a devastating shock to so many in the Rock & Metal world this past year,” said festival organizers. “Trevor was a beloved member of the Metal community, and a light to anyone he crossed paths with.
“TBDM has become of the most influential and popular American Death Metal bands of All-Time. They performed their first show without Strnad this past October, selling out the venue instantaneously for a powerful performance that fans in attendance have sworn they will never forget. It is with great honor that we welcome a very special performance from The Black Dahlia Murder at Blue Ridge Rock Festival this September.”
