North American esports organisation XSET has renewed its existing partnership with Las Vegas-based hip-hop club Drai’s.
As a result of the renewal, XSET will collaborate with Drai’s to integrate gaming into both of Drai’s venues through the creation of themed gaming cabanas.
XSET plans to create a third cabana (a type of small hut) within Drai’s 30,000-square-foot beach club that will host artists performing at the venue, including hip-hop artist Rick Ross.
The cabana will feature a range of XSET-themed games consoles and peripherals. Limited edition themed merchandise will also be on sale on the premesis.
In addition to the cabanas, XSET and Drai’s will join forces to create an interview series at the club called ‘XSET Unscripted’. The series will feature the organisation’s content creators and aims to showcase ‘the enthusiasm and talent within the gaming community.’
Moreover, XSET plans to host a range of esports tournaments involving members of the organisation and artists. The first activation will take place in July alongside the NBA 2K League.
Wil Eddins, Chief Merchandising and Licensing Officer at XSET, spoke on the renewal: “This collaboration represents another milestone in our journey to redefine what it means to be a gaming lifestyle organisation.
“XSET remains at the vanguard, continuously introducing game-changing activations that disrupt industry norms. From fashion and music to nightlife, we are committed to pushing boundaries and shaping the future of gaming, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.”
